What is TermFort™?
TermFort™ is an early termite detection and warning system that can intercept termites before they reach your home. TermFort™ is used by licensed professionals and is a non toxic early warning device.
The TermFort™ termite interception stations consist of non toxic specialty designed timbers and cellulose preferred by termites. The TermFort™ early warning stations are inserted into soil areas to form a continual linked system every 3 meters around a building.
Termites are present in many areas at all times constantly searching for food. The TermFort™ system is designed to intercept these termites before they can reach your building or continue to cause further damage unbeknown to the property owner. The TermFort™ early termite warning system is 100% Non Toxic and is safe for your family, pets and the environment.
No chemical is installed to the system during the monitoring stages.
Stage 1 Inspections – TermFort™ stations are installed by the home owner or installer, to form a perimeter around the structure. These stations are inspected every 6 weeks and once termites have been intercepted a non toxic bait that is preferred by termites instead of timber is installed by an accredited installer that will kill the colony.
Stage 2 Treatment –Treating termites is a skill that should be handled by termite professionals. Unlike other systems, TermFort™ allows the homeowner, property manager or gardener to carry out the simple detection stages by inspecting the stations thus saving money without on going inspection fees.

Q – Will the TermFort™ system attract termites to my house?
A – The TermFort™ system is designed to intercept termites that are already present within the area. The idea of intercepting termites is so that they can be treated before they reach your building. Termfort™ is an affordable investment allowing homeowners or property managers the ability to perform their own surveillance before termites attack the structure.
Q – Is TermFort™ Toxic?
A – Unlike chemical soil treatments or “Termite Barriers” The TermFort™ system is Non Toxic. The monitoring stations contain a special timber and cellulose designed to intercept termites. Once termites are identified, the bait applied is Non Toxic in its applied form.
Q – Is TermFort™ Easy to install?
A – TermFort™ stations can be easily installed into the soil around you building. The stations require only 15 seconds to inspect per station. On average it should take 1-2 hours to install a system around an average size house and 30 min to inspect the system every 6 weeks.
Q – How does the baiting process work?
A – Termite Bait contains alluring agents and feeding stimulants combined with pure form cellulose with 0.1% chlorfluazuron to ensure zero detection of the toxicant by termites. Chlorfluazuron is a highly stable molecule, able to withstand enzymatic breakdown ensuring trophallaxis to ensure that the active ingredient is passed on to all nest mates while retaining its potency and efficacy.
Chlorfluazuron is a slow toxicant, allowing termites to share poisoned food with their nest mates all the way back to the Queen and the King. Chlorfluazuron is a chitin growth inhibitor which prevents termites moulting thus killing the worker cast that feed the rest of the colony. Starvation eventually leads to colony elimination
