How to install TermFort™
TermFort™ Early Termite warning system is easy to install. Simply purchase one of our specialty designed augers for ease of install or use a shovel or post hole borer to dig a small hole in the soil and install.

Line up the top cover with the base. The 4 clips should line up with the single vertical holes. Ensure the horizontal holes are free to allow the lid to be inserted and move freely in lock and open position. Place the cardboard cellulose sleeve over the base.
The diameter of the stations are 80mm thick by 22cm long. The stations should be installed into soil areas 1MT out from the walls of the building or just under the gutter line and placed every 3 meters apart to form a perimeter. An average 60 lineal meter house would use 20-25 TermFort™ Stations. Additional stations should be installed in areas that would be high risk to termite activity such as fence lines, trees, stumps and wood piles.
Ensure that the TermFort™ stations are firmly packed into the ground and the lids just below ground level as so that they will not be damaged by lawn mowers and gardening equipment. It is important to ensure they are installed in straight even lines and the lids are flat on the ground horizontally.
The lid can be loosened back and forth a few times to ease up the friction or with a small daub of cooking oil applied to the lid lock section. Once installed use the key opener to ensure the lid is in lock position. Stations can be numbered with a white permanent marker for ease of identification.
